Marsha Maurer is a teacher of writing at Augusta State University in Augusta, Georgia. She was named Georgia Author of the Year for her book In the Garden: A Collection of Prayers for Everyday (Barbour, 2000). She is also the author of A Fragrant Fullness: The Spiritual Essence of Everyday Life (Embassador Emerald, 2003).
