Doehring, Carrie

Carrie Doehring is the Clifford Baldridge Professor of Pastoral Care and director of the Master of Arts in Pastoral and Spiritual Care program at Iliff School of Theology. She is ordained in the Presbyterian Church (USA) and licensed as a psychologist in Colorado and Massachusetts. She is the author of 38 chapters and articles, and three books. Her book, The Practice of Pastoral Care: A Postmodern Approach, Revised and Expanded (Louisville, KY: Westminster John Knox, 2015), is widely used as a textbook on spiritual care for religious leaders and chaplains.
