LaDonna Meinders began writing at age seven. In the next several years she wrote plays which were acted out by schoolmates and put on for the enjoyment (she hopes) of the classroom and sometimes the entire school. (She reports that the school was small and had little opportunity for entertainment!)
Her two books published by Chalice Press are Angel Hugs and Angel Hugs for Cancer Patients, which was written while she recuperated from metastatic cancer. She is happy to report that she is now in excellent health!
LaDonna is a member of Village Christian Church in Oklahoma City, is a trustee for Phillips Theological Seminary in Tulsa, serves on the Volunteer Council of the League of American Orchestras, and is a member of the Advisory Board for the Kramer School of Nursing and the Bass School of Music, both at Oklahoma City University.
