Having been ordained in the 6th Episcopal District [Georgia], Rev. Michelle Ledder is an Itinerant Elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church. Ledder serves on the ministerial staff at Metropolitan African Methodist Episcopal Church inWashington, D.C and serves as the Director of Equity and Anti-Racism for the General Commission on Religion and Race [GCORR] for the United Methodist Church.
Michelle is a PhD Candidate at Emory University with a focus on homiletics (the art and science of preaching) and pedagogy (the art and science of teaching). Her dissertation is entitled, "Preaching Truth: An Anti-Racist Anti-Racism Homiletic for 21st Century White Christians that actually Interrupts and Dismantles Racism.”
She currently resides in Baltimore City.
